This image was taken on the fourth day of the Grand Canyon hike in 2001 with the 4 x 5 Wista view camera. The image was taken from the Tonto Trail as we headed for the Hermit Creek campsite. We had a short hike on this particular day and this allowed me to wait for the correct lighting on the subjects I was shooting, which can be a rare luxury while hiking in the deserts of Arizona. --Rebecca.
