This image was taken on the 4 x 5 Wista on a small
stretch of road between Tombstone and Sierra Vista,
AZ near the ghost town of Charleston. I really love
the contrast of the raw, dry desert and the green
of the trees in the background. Generally when you
see a grouping of trees like this in the desert,
there is a creek close by. That is indeed the case
here and the water from that creek was likely used
by the people of Charleston when that town was
populated in the late 1800's. One of Keith's
passions is exploring ghost towns in Arizona and
that gives me the opportunity to find scenes like
this one. --Rebecca |
