The 'Mittens' at Monument Valley, AZ are easily
recognizable by most and have been photographed by
thousands of individuals. Almost every car
commercial with a desert scene seems to use the
Mittens as a back drop. Some of the most famous
photographers have also made their way to Monument
Valley. It is easy to see why when you experience
it in person. This image was created as the sun was
going down for a sizable audience. I was certainly
not the only photographer there at the time
(although I was the only one there with a 4 x 5
