This image is the second of the two images that
presented themselves to me as I walked out of a
building in Milford, New Hampshire in the fall of
1996. This tree was standing off to the right as I
left the building and, even though I saw that tree
every day, it grabbed my attention as the leaves
were changing. It went from an everyday tree to a
spectacular display in a matter of days. I walked
under the tree and was enveloped in color. It was
one of the most serene places I have ever been even
though there were people milling about only feet
from me. I shot this image with my 4 x 5 Wista
towards the end of an unusually warm day in
October. --Rebecca |
