I found this little pond along route 101 near
Amherst, NH in October, 1995. I was driving to
Manchester from Milford and caught a small glimpse
of water off the side of the road. There was a small
picnic area there and I had never noticed it
before. I pulled off to the side of the road and
grabbed my 4 x 5 Wista and tripod. Was I surprised
to find this incredible pond with all the beautiful
fall colors surrounding it and reflecting off the
perfectly still water. I like going off the beaten
path to get my images, but when one reaches out to
me like this did, it is hard to turn away! --Rebecca |
