As you can guess, this is the same pond as seen in
'October Pond I', but a slightly different
perspective. The log that is sticking out into the
pond in 'October Pond I' is the same one that is
coming out from the bottom of the image in 'October
Pond II'. I actually climbed out onto the log and
set up my tripod and 4 x 5 Wista while trying to
keep my feet (and equipment!) dry. I can't tell you
how close I came to falling into the October Pond,
but I was able to maintain my balance and get this
shot. It wouldn't be the first time I had gotten
wet, but it would have been the first time that it
