These flowers were amazing to me. As we were hiking the Halape Beach trail in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the morning glories were littered in amongst the lava rock. It really didn't seem like they had too much to hold onto, but there they were. This one was spotted on the hike out. It was very windy and we had to wait a significant amount of time to get the shot off (it was a 1/2 second exposure). I really love the way the purples stand out against the black rock. --Rebecca |
