The NaPali coast has got to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. This image was taken from the Kalalau lookout on Waimea canyon road. I had set up the camera for a sunset shot, hoping for some clouds to light up as the sun went down. When we were there, we saw the fog roll into the valley in no more than 2 minutes. One minute you see a perfectly clear valley and 2 minutes later, you can hardly see your hand in front of your face because the fog is so thick. This rainbow came out as the fog was receeding and the sunlight hit what was remaining. We spent 4 cold hours there, and it was a great time! --Rebecca |
