This image was taken from within McDowell Mountain Park pointing south
towards the town of Fountain Hills. I shoot lightning all summer with
three cameras and get hundreds of strikes every year. Even with that
number of strikes, it is an unusual occurance to get sky-to-ground and
sky-to-sky strikes in one image. This image shows two ground strikes
and one sky strike. I was unable to stay in this location because of the
heavy rain blowing into my cameras, but I was happy with the results of
