This image was taken in McDowell Mountain Park just outside of Fountain Hills. The storm was a very active one, but it was raining so hard I was unable to set up until it passed over us. When I was finally able to set up there were a lot of sky-to-sky strikes happening. I liked the way they mimicked the ocotillo in the foreground. We actually got stuck for about 2 hours this night because the washes were running so hard and the sheriffs deputies were not allowing people to drive through them. Thankfully it was a weekend and Keith didn't have to work the next day! --Rebecca
