Red Mountain is a very recognizable feature in the northeast valley outside of Phoenix. I have a few images of Red Mountain from the west side at sunset, but I did not have one from the east. I had a request to shoot it from the east side, which I honestly never thought of. There was a full moon and I knew that the next day the moon would still be up when the sun was coming up, so I packed my camera and went out before the sun came up. I found this location and shot as the sun was hitting the mountain and foreground. This was shot just a few minutes after "Red Mountain Sunrise". --Rebecca |
