This image was taken on the same night as 'Beach
Sunset' was taken, but it was shot on negative film
as opposed to transparency film which is why it
appears in a different hue. It is unusual to have
waves on the west side of St. Croix, but the
hurricane that had passed through two days earlier
changed that. We were lucky to catch this wave as
it was crashing on the rocks the first night we
were there, because in the following nights, the
sea calmed down and the beach was serene as it is
